Listing is for 10 small bulbs, ready to plant. They are perennial onions and easily our favorite onion at our farm. They’re very easy to grow and reproduce readily. Often called “the last onion you’ll ever plant” the flavor is very sweet delicate. Like a shallot crossed with candy onions. These perennial onions live many years and so do not need to be harvested and stored, they can just keep growing in the ground 365 days a year and you harvest onions when your ready. Bulbs set on top of the greens in clusters as few as 3 and as many as 100+. Oftentimes there will be 3, or 4 generations of bulbs growing off one mother onion and we have seen some with around 1000 bulblets ready to be planted. A wonderful addition to homesteads, gardens, permaculture farms, and even grow great in poly cultures around fruit trees like apples and peaches to ward off pests. These are very cold hardy and ready to be planted.
